About Astrology
Astrology is indeed an incredibly old subject. Since early times, when man lived close to nature and was at one with it, he could sense that everything had its own cycle and rhythm, and that things are given birth and die, transforming over and over in an eternal ebb and flow. While astronomy is concerned with the laws of the universe and the movement of its celestial bodiestial bodies Astrology main focus is the meaning of these apparently acasual occurrences have, recapitulating, it’s not concearned with the actual phisycal distant object but from a psychological perspective with the meaning which we assign to the fantasies which are the projection of our own soul into the sky; the subject of astrology is far more complex and rich than it spopularised form found on newspapers and magazines.
The practice of astrology is not, as it is depicted from media, about labelling individuals with stereotypes or predicting a future that is determined – it is a language rich in symbols which like the dream appears spontaneously and if translated it describes psychological dynamics and brings meaning into patterns and events which, when if understood, give us the freedom to become that which we can only in potential be. There are different kinds of astrology, and quite a few valid traditions; my focus is on a person-centred astrology that looks at personal potentials and resources to open the door to a more creative way live life and be open to possibilities.
We do not know exactly who envisaged the zodiac’s structure or how it works. Carl Jung, a famous Jungian Psychoanalyst, advocated that “The starry vault of heaven is in truth the open book of cosmic projection… “ and, in short, the sky is a symbolic reflection of the inner world.
Person Centred Astrology
If you are going through a challenging time, perhapsat a crossroads, or simply want to know more about yourself, my understanding of astrology is that the sky is a mirror of the inner world – “as above so below as within so without” and looking into this mirror fundamentally allows you to shed light on yourself and your journey.
I hold a diploma in Psychological Astrology and possess coaching skills to elicit inner dialogue and help you navigate the future. The consultation is a process that involves invoking imagery pertinent to your individual birth sky and make you engage with these general life energies or psychic forces. The primary tool used for this process is intuition. Intuition is nothing fantastical, but as C.G. Jung describes it, a mode of perceiving reality which allows you to see connections between apparently unrelated phenomena (see Carl Jung’s definition in Psychological Types and the MBTI personality test). It is some kind of reductive thinking, and while it doesn’t mean you don’t have to stop being critical of it, if you wish to be open to Astrology, it is required that you use its symbolic frame of understanding. In addition, unlike other astrologers, I request the client to tell me a recurrent dream (typically, even people who do not dream will have one prior to consultation)– the dream will usually hold the answer to a question that thinking alone can’t find an answer to: again, the dream is interpreted here solely in relation to your horoscope. The purpose of such a process is to let you approach life as a whole with inherent meaning, reconciling its paradoxes.
The cost of the consultation depends on the type you are looking to book. All consultations must be paid in advance, and they include a non-refundable deposit of 20 pounds. You must give a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule the consultation. If you don’t give notice, you have to pay the deposit for the time slot I have reserved for you.
If you no longer wish to have a consultation and cancel without giving notice, I will refund the consultation fee, excluding the deposit.
If you decide to go ahead and, for any reason, we agree you are not able to benefit from the consultation, I will refund you the consultation fee, excluding your deposit.
All data is treated confidentially and not passed on to third parties. You will need to sign a consent form prior to the consultation. To book a time slot, please check my availability with me. In general, I am available for consultations on weekdays from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm, except on Saturdays. If you would like to make an appointment, I will need to receive your birth details (date, place and time of birth, where known) at least 3 days in advance of our appointment, to allow sufficient time to study your birth chart.

Horoscope Analysis This session lasts 60 to 90 minutes, and it’s recorded. During the consultation, I will map out the main theme of your life, how you see the world and the patterns you are likely to experience. The consultation analyses the past and present to help you embark on the future with knowledge that empowers you. I will use poetic devices such as analogy, parallelism, and personification to describe the unknown. You will gain a symbolic understanding of what kind of life journey you are embarking on. Astro Coaching These sessions are not recorded and last 50 minutes. They are generally bought in blocks, and we will discuss the timing and frequency of their commencement. They are generally once every 2 or 4 weeks. |
Individual Session This session lasts 50 minutes, and it is NOT RECORDED It’s a session that lets you explore a single topic or, if you prefer, more specific questions. It’s the type of consultation you should go for if you are at a crossroads or if something happened to you that you want to make sense of. It can be about something happening in your life or a conflict you find difficult to deal with. It provides you with knowledge to understand what is at play at the time of the consultation and whether provided that you are in a position to make your own choices, it supports you in doing so in a way that is more fulfilling; it is not about me telling you what to do, but facilitates the process by which you have to make a decision. |
